ABOUT ME

I am super obsessed with my Iphone 4. I'm completely hooked with taking photographs using the various Iphone photo apps (but mostly Hipstamatic).

All of the photographs posted here are my own, taken with my Iphone 4 and processed with different iphone apps.

Enjoy!

Also if any of you have Instagram, you may also follow me there. I upload photos there more often. I use the username redfiretrees.

I also have another photo blog but it more of a travel blog with a side of music. You can check out http://redfiretrees.tumblr.com

It was my first time to visit Laguna Beach since I’ve only seen it in tv shows.
I’m a beach person so I enjoyed our short excursion and took quite a few photos with my camera and my iphone.

Take Me Back To Amalfi
I actually bought this painting from the artist himself at a street market in Rome. This painting is pretty amazing since it looks like a real photograph and not an actual oil painting.
I love Amalfi. Even though the journey there wasn’t as smooth sailing as I would like. (The waters were choppy and I puked). We only stayed for a few hours but I really enjoyed the place and really wanted to explore the place fully. There were so much more to see but I didn’t have the time to.
We went to Amalfi via a boat but went home by bus because the tour guide wanted us to experience the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. It was pretty breathtaking but I’m ashamed to admit that I kinda fell asleep on the bus ride back to the boat so I think I missed some pretty great sights.. and probably a lot of photo opportunities.
App Used: Hipstamatic
Location: Photo taken at my house in Quezon City, Philippines but Amalfi is located at Salerno, Campania, Italy.
Date photo taken: January 2011. Date visited Amalfi: June 2010
*Note: I already posted this photo before on my main blog “redfiretrees.tumblr.com. I am just reposting this again here.

The Tsing Ma Bridge
First off, I would just like to mention that I really love Hipstamatic!!! I mean my trusty Canon cameras could never produce this kind of effects. I’m really happy with how this photo turned out.
Anyways, a little info about this bridge. The Tsing Ma Bridge is considered to be the seventh longest span suspension bridge in the world. It really is a architectural beauty, good thing we passed it by on our way to the airport and I was able to take a few quick photos with my Iphone.

The Windows of the Peninsula Hotel
According to some websites that I have read the Peninsula is Hong Kong’s most historical hotel since it has been operational since 1928.
My family and I went to lunch at the Sheriton Hotel which was right across the street from the Peninsula Hong Kong Hotel.
Looking around for something to photograph with my Retro Camera Plus Iphone App, the windows caught my eye…

Hong Kong Skyline on Film
Just another photo of the Hong Kong Skyline. The only difference is that I used my Retro Cam Plus to create the film effect to make it look old and vintage. Loved the feel of it.
